More women on bikes, more time on the saddle. The ethos driving our MO. According to Strava, women in the U.S. spend 45% less time cycling than men - worldwide, there are 3-4x more men cycling on the road than women - and it’s surely not because women aren’t interested in cycling.
Women are 73% more likely to feel comfortable riding with other cyclists of their gender, however, only 12% of women reported riding in all-women groups, often times finding themselves riding in groups with predominantly male cyclists.
Our mission is to make cycling more inclusive for women by creating a space that fosters community and amplifying our presence in existing spaces.
Building a community that places women at the center stage goes beyond making friendships, it creates a safe space and a sense of belonging. We aim to do this with the help of our allies and supporters by hosting a variety of pop-up and “girls only” group rides, community events, and workshops.
Texas born and bred, we channel the strength and courage of our inner cowgirl to face adventure and adversity on the road. With a loud “YEE-HAW!” we celebrate the thrill of a descent after the challenge of a climb and/or the satisfaction of a ride well lived.
